GUNG-HO
From Wikipedia: Gung-Ho's real name is Ettienne R. LaFitte, and his rank was originally that of a Gunnery Sergeant E-7. He was later promoted to Sergeant Major E-9 (USMC). Gung-Ho was born into a large Cajun clan, in the fictional Fer-de-Lance, Louisiana. His primary military specialty is recondo instructor and his secondary military specialty is jungle warfare training instructor.

A farirly simple brute that comes with Running Shot, and an M790 Grenade Launcher!

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero is a half-hour American animated television series based on the successful toyline from Hasbro and the comic book series from Marvel Comics. The cartoon had its beginnings with two five-part mini-series in 1983 and 1984, then became a regular series that ran in syndication from 1985 to 1986.

Storm Shadow is OP!!

@Eric Her counter intelligence power is a lot more powerful than it looks. Prob, Perplex and Outwit are extremely important to a team and she can take away two of them from all opposing teams.

Eleborate Scemes is very fitting for Cobra Commander as he would have cameras and eyes all around a base map (which is where this power would come most in handy).

Also yay minions!

Lastly I'd be cool to see ATAs for Cobra and G.I. Joe.

IF we do another round of Joe's Flint and Beachhead are top of the list. ;)

Need a Flint dial though, he was my fav. GI Joe

I dig these dials a lot. Would love to see an actual set.

@ Eric, people who need to bring a politics into everything are the ones who are truly lame.

Ah childhood memories. In the UK they changed the name of the show/toy to "Action Force" as we have no idea what a G.I. is and presumably to get some of the business from the popular "Action Man" toys of the time (fully posable, even his eyes moved!). Did you guys have Action Man in the States/Canada too?

On topic there are some fun dials and special powers here. I want to see that "Hearts and Minds" power on the baroness as a 'thing' in clix real soon.

@Eric have you seen the way Wiz/NECA treats the femmes fatales in clix? Try to find a bad Electra/Gamora click! But yes it is odd how 'support' power figures in this sort of price range often cost more than the figs they are supporting.

Really?? Scarlett is the highest point figure? Really? More than Duke, Storm Shadow, and Snake Eyes?? Is this in hopes that chicks will see this and see how progressive you are?? Lame.

Now these I would buy. I would so buy G.I. Joe clix! I love the Storm Shadow team ability!!! Good job.

in fact, the only drawback I have to these at this point is that unless WK changes "Modern Age", they would be Golden Age the moment they came out. I'm still irritated that the Yugio Starter I bought contains pieces I cannot play in regular tournaments.

Posted by: superfriend on 7/21/2014 8:23:23 AM
I was never really sure how different and interesting WK could make a bunch of soldiers, but after seeing the Deadpool set with pieces like Colleen Wing, Misty Knight, Paladin, Weasel, Outlaw, Elektra, Punisher and of course versions of Hand Ninjas, I am beginning to come around to the idea that characters like this, which on the surface feel very similar, could indeed be diverse enough to be interesting as clix.
