Any word on what the Map in this set will be (if there is one that is?) or even better a picture??? i confess im a bit of a Map fiend and cant get enough of new battle grounds

The real reason i see for three manhunters is a simple one. this one is for those not fortunate enough/rich enough to buy heroclix and pull a black lantern chase and being that he was one of the more focused on black lanterns, they did one for everyone else. as for the other one that one was made to round out the JLI since the other manhunter that would be good for that is now retired.Which one can on expect since there was a good number JLi clix in b&b. The only one missing was a Captain Atom. I think thats better i buy a case every set and i've only been lucky twice to get a chase so i really think that making a different non chase should please everyone those that have the chase and those that didn t have a chance to get one but wanted it.

Can someone please explain to the layman, what this whole Martian manhunter/black lantern thingy is about??? coz i've not got a clue!
People are either loving or hating it, and i'm (as a Marvel fan) currious to know what all the love/Hate and need for 3 versions of him between one set and a collectors set is all about????
really im just waiting for Marvel to get the same love as DC with these collectors sets, rather than the reprints we're getting at the min

... for crying out loud, we did NOT need a THIRD manhunter in a matter of 2 sets. Brightest day or not, that slot coulda gone to, and I truly hate saying this because I detest the character... Maxwell Lord.

I have to say I am very excited for this set. I think they all look great! I'm super excited for Aquaman(very cool sculpt, finally), Firestorm (please have an accurate and awesome dial), Hawkgirl (WOOHOO Shayera!) and Osiris. I already love the Captain Boomerang I have (the father not the son, though I love his piece too) Deadman and Martian Manhunter are the ones I could really do with out. I am by no means complaining though. Keep 'em coming NECA!!

I like the Aquaman and Manhunter...but the rest seem too pale...they need a wash to bring out the details. That said otherwise I'm super impressed with the nice sculpts. I'm really curious to see what the dials will look like and if Osiris will be the next Black Adam monster.

i think that all the new figs seem to have the same kindof stance. i miss the creativness with the poses in the old set. it could just me though.

I dunno, I was never a fan of "Old Man Boomerang" and I liked what they did with his son in the comics. I do like this piece though and several of the sculpts in this set have a very "pulp" feel to them that may actually appeal to folks who like to play games other than Heroclix. The pulp genre seems to be a kind of guilty pleasure for lots of folks these days. Thanks for the pics. :)

ok like & hate brightest day set. Like Deadman, firestorm , aquaman, hawkgirl. Hate Captain Boomerang, Martian man hunter, Osiris. Reason honestly almost know one knows that Osiris is part of black Adams family and a stand in titan. We already had a ok Martian man hunter in B&B. Cap boomerang really big waste in a set like this. I like the other clix though because they all have better purpose. Deadman is now alive & a white lantern, firestorm is now Ronnie & Jason, lets face it there hasn’t been a good aqua man in quite sometime, and hawk girl just got all her memories back-plus sculpt looks good. The three I hated could have been replaced with other resurrected characters like Jade(would have been sweet & we need more lanterns), Maxwell lord(know nothing about him but at least he is new), I know we got a good looking hawkman in B&B but you have to have him with hawk girl, Since the old hawk is back they should have done a duo with him and the new dove, and that’s how I feel. (AWESOME DEADMAN WHITE LANTERN)!!!!!!!!

not bad like the hawkgirl and aquaman but very tame.
justice league crisis on two earth on dvd and still no new members for the csa and more one off you could shake a stick at.

I love it. Personally I would have liked the manhunter to be just the normal green and blue, but ill take it. as far as the poses i think they are great the detail is good and no cutsie (sitting on cookies)poses. Im a big fan of the present sculpt selection and design.

I would say this set is going to be cool!!! But I agree with Bretsports2 regarding the design of the figures' poses, and also regarding the selection of the characters, I would have liked Jade, Maxwell Lord, even Hawk, but another Martian Manhunter, CAPTAIN BOOMERANG??? com'on!!!

The figs look amazing, however, very boring. NO action poses, all just standing there. After the amazing creativity on the Blackest Night set, like Scarecrow, GL's Fist, The Atom, these just seem very ... boring I guess? Still can't wait to get them though ... and who is Osiris??

I like the characters. It looks like a fun set to play. I am looking forward to it. Since we just had 2 Martian Manhunters though, I would have put in Hawkman.

Awesome figures! Martian Manhunter is special. Love the Deadman & Aquaman figures.
Between this set, the collection of DC Figures. Would love to see more Green Lanterns and Ganthet (now blue). St Walker would've been nice, Guy, Jade, and so on. Just a few. Hell! I would have loved a Kilowog.

Hmmmm... I have mixed feelings. The character choice is not that appealing to me... primarily Capt. Boomerang and is Osiris supposed to be Black Adam? Although I have not read the book so what do I know? And in comparison to Blackest Night, this set (based on the pictures) feels like it lacks some flare... some pizzazz!? Who am I kidding, I’ll still work on getting one :-p What’s the catch phrase for this set? I suggest… Time will tell, LOL!

The look good and all but disappointed that Deadman (and Martian Manhunter?) are the only Lanterns. I was so psychiced in the hopes of more Lanterns. Oh Well.

I wonder what gives with the Martian Manhunter. But I really like seeing Hawkgirl and Osiris. But I'll have to buy two of them just to give my wife Deadman. He ahs always been here favorite DC hero.
