HeroClix Mighty Maps Mayhem! The fine folks at Adventurer's Atlas informs me that they're running a massive sale this week for all Mighty Maps! It looks like most maps are nearly 30% off, so you don't want to miss out on this great deal!

Just a reminder: Adventurer's Atlas ships free anywhere in the USA and international shipping starts at a paltry $5.00. No other HeroCix compatible map company offers shipping at this rate, and none of them have maps that are as cool as Mighty Maps.

Personally, our favorite set is MIGHTY MAPS #3, which comes with 2 two-sided maps (for a total of four maps). On one side is the Vigilante Lair and Warehouse, but the other side has the Desert Villages. Best of all, the two Desert Villages combines into one massive 4-player map! How cool is that? This map set is also on sale this week so act now!

Adventurer's Atlas sent us a Mighty Maps #3, and we're going to give it away tonight! At 9pm est time we're picking out two random names from our HeroClix World Free Subscribers list. One winner will be sent the Warehouse map one winner will be sent the Vigilante Lair map. HeroClix World will pay for shipping anywhere in the world!

Disclaimer: HeroClix World is not affiliated with Adventurer's Atlas or Mighty Maps. We don't see a single penny from any sales. Adventurer's Atlas is kind enough to give free Mighty Maps to our readers, so how can we refuse? 'Check out the

Your Comments:
The Luthor comment is riffing on something from an old (80's?) childrens book with DC characters. "When no one was looking, Lex Luthor took forty cakes...". The cakes I can forgive, but someone better get those maps back!

I have been with this sight forever. I also have had the oppintunity to talk with LE as well on unpublished material and published material. He makes this a great sight even without the give aways. From everything I have seen he gives stuff on these contests including the shirt off his back( if he could). Not sure were Lamer is trying to go with this but this site and its operator are a shining beacon on the internet.

@Lamer: I have only ever turned down one company that offered free product to my readers -- that product is intimately tied to another company that has been taking prejudicial and hostile action towards HeroClix World. As such, I could not accept such an offer.

Again, HeroClix World is not affiliated in any way with Adventurer's Atlas. We don't see one penny from Mighty Map sales -- They really are the best third party HeroClix maps in the world, and Adventurer's Atlas is the kind of honest and transparent company we like to showcase to our readers!

That's a funny comment you make about putting calls out to other companies to offer your readers some free "Swag". What about companies that contact you offering free stuff?

Posted by: Lamer on 5/7/2011 5:05:38 AM
@Lamer: LOL. It's 100% true. I put out calls every week to different vendors asking for free stuff to give to HeroClix World readers, and Adventurer's Atlas is one of the companies that's stepped up to the plate. Other websites have required these companies to pay for ad space, but not me - they get free promotions from me (as you can see here in this article), but in return I ask that they offer free stuff to my readers.

I've never once considered asking any of these companies for a piece of their action - sorry to disappoint you.

Free stuff for my readers and truthful disclaimers -- that's how we roll at HeroClix World!

Listen up fellow Clixers! I just bought these two maps a couple weeks ago. And they are great! I personally love the parking garage. Lots of hindering. Little bit of outdoor action. And the office highrise does not disappoint. I love all the little rooms. Its a shame i have these two maps already though. Cause that means if i won i would have top pass along the prize. :(

Remember guys, the Armored cartographers Maps are for use with Sci Fi mini games, with 1 inch bases, MIGHTY MAPS are the maps for use with Heroclix!

Thanks!

Just bought that pack last month and've played maybe 5 games on them. The desert village is beyond excellent. Local players have all approved and if I win tonight I will donate them to our venue. Great maps so far.

Thanks guys! We have alot more maps coming up as well!

@Calvin, all the maps are excellent, but Mighty Maps #3 is clearly the favorite in my area (my players constantly put them together for a big Desert Village). I highly recommend it!
