Welcome back to Talkback Tuesday, where you have a chance to win a free HeroClix figure just by leaving a comment! Today we're talking about another fantastic Golden Age figure: Green Arrow!

Awesome Clix is a HeroClix series that discusses Golden Age figures that are useful in Modern Age Games.

Awesome Clix: Green Arrow

Green Arrow's a ranged combat machine -- able to deal 4 damage with Ranged Combat Expert (which gives him a +2 to his attack value thank to being the Best Shot in the Biz), not to mention early Willpower. He's also extremely mobile with Running Shot and a tough of Stealth late in the dial along with a Flurry... of Arrows and Combat Reflexes.

But what's truly awesome about Green Arrow is that he's a Sharpshooter with 3 ranged attacks and Energy Explosion! For 95 points you have one of the most potent secondary attackers in the game. Toss in some Armor Piercing and you're dealing 1 damage to 3+ targets!

That's pretty amazing anyway you look at it.

You've got a highly mobile sniper that can do a lot damage across several targets or densely packed ones. If he loses Willpower, he can be pushed and continue to dole out the damage while defended.

I'll have to agree, the sculpt is well thought out, not a superficial pose. Anything with multiple attacks will always get additional consideration.

One of my favorites for elevation. I usually have a flier take him to a good point and lay some cover fire for everyone else.

Seeing the Arrow tv series has made me a bigger fan of Green Arrow. This clix has a great dial and the sculpt is one of the best Green Arrow clix, imo.

If he's traveling with his pal Hal, this is a great piece to shoot then hide behind a lantern barrier. Secondary attacker? Could actually be a first-stringer.

I've been trying for awhile now to get this Arrow for my JL teams. No ones been wanting to come off of theirs.

This arrow is still pretty awesome today for the pts. Running shot for massive damage with his energy explode 3 targets!!! Figure out how to get some psychic blast on him if you really wanna bring the pain!

Amazing Ollie! Team him up with DC 10th Oracle, Teen Titans Hal, a few JLA silver AtA's and one wrath relic for flavor, knock your Boxing Glove Arrows and let fly

This is by far one of the best GAs in the game, His trait makes him ideal to keep back and cover support pieces like JLTW John Constantine, keep your outwitters and perplexers around GA and you can do serious close up damage, also just a good secondary attacker for sneaking up and picking off support pieces in a close grouping with flurry of arrows

He's actually one of my Favorite Green Arrows(Which is tough with WL GA,Crisis GA,TW202 )
But this one is great to use with Justice League Teams because of his Justice League Keyword.
I team him up with FL19a Flash(Barry Allen), so he can use his Defend and Police TA.
I also use FLFF Captain Cold who has the JL Keyword. They work very well together.
I love this ones Sculpt! So NICE!
