The Quintessential Flash HeroClix Dial

Welcome to the Quintessential Flash, where we talk about the ideal Flash HeroClix dial! Master dial maker Eric Schaen returns with a take on the Fastest Man alive!

The Quintessential series discusses just one character and presents the "ideal" HeroClix dial for that character.

A few weeks ago we did a poll to see who you want to appear as Quintessential HeroClix, and you chose Taskmaster! What we didn't tell you is that the final vote was close. There was actually a string of votes for the Flash that put him close to the top of the list. It was so close that we've decided to honor that vote with The Quintessential Flash!

Dial by Eric Schaen (continued below)...

The Quintessential Flash HeroClix Dial

The Quintessential Flash is quite the beast with standard Hypersonic Speed and Super Senses. But Eric's given this dial some needed Speed Force and other abilities that reflect his supersonic abilities.

He seems a little pricey at 150 points, but thanks to his traits he gets better and better during the battle - those traits will eventually grant him Energy Shield/Deflection, Perplex, Sidestep, Willpower, Outwit, and Probability Control!

What do you think?

My new favorite flash! I need a physical figure!

Yeah, he definitely needs to ignore bases or he's trash

This is a great dial. I love the Flash and have always thought something was lacking in each dial I'd like to see a Wally West also that is more true to the character. I grew up in the 90's so almost every Flash comic I read growing up started with "My name is Wally West and I'm the fastest man alive." I basically want to use them together and be able to know which one is which based solely on their abilities.

This is the Barry we all should have got.

The supersonic punch is something I have been looking for in a Flash dial. surprised Wizkids hasn't done that yet.

maybe not as good as the Wally West flash we just got, but definitely better than the two versions of Barry that we got.

A decent flash certainly, though not my favorite quintessential dial. I'd like to see a really huge speed value on a flash (dare I say 20?).
Also for his attack power to work won't he need 'ignores characters'on his speed as otherwise he'll end up stuck next to the target of his attack. Unless he's allowed to reverse the straight line post punch.

Still a nice dial, good to see a lot of well thought out powers.
