BATMAN BEYOND / BRUCE WAYNE

HeroClix Batman BeyondKempter2000: Most of the previous incarnation's of the bat could not hold any clix battle on their own; most versions require a few support clix or a whole team devoted to assisting Batman on the map... simply put, we're in desperate need of a Batman that can stand his own ground and put criminals down on the clix map.

So why not a New Batman Beyond/Bruce Wayne duo figure? Batman could be much stronger at least 175 points... look for a 4 attack and a minimum range of 6 to 8, with two lightning bolts, plus somthing stronger than incapacitate would be nice.

Bruce Wayne could represent the support/oracle portion of the dial with perplex, willpower, and outwit. Batman is also desperatly in need of some capture component -- I think this needs to be introduced on a smaller clix level... it shouldn't be reserved for just advanced sentinels any more.

GREEN LANTERN & GREEN ARROW

HeroClix Duo Green Arrow LanternEric Schaen: "the Hard Traveling Heroes" teamed these two very different super heroes in a long story arc in which the characters undertook a social-commentary as they traveled across America. Hal and Ollie have history, and would make for a very cool Duo figure. One deserving of Indomitable and 2-3 target bolts.

This Duo would be a beast to deal with at range due both of theses characters weapons of choice.

A special power called Emerald Warriors that would allow the use of multiple powers could help cover their multiple capabilities on the battle field.

I think a Bizarro and Batzarro would be pretty cool. U could call it the opposite of World's Finest whatever that is. Also Luthor and Joker would be another good one. Other than that all the ones mentioned are pretty good. Would really love to see a blue and gold myself.

You guys are leaving out the best DC villian duo of all time: The Luthor-Brainiac Team!! You could use the version from Justice League Unlimited, the one from Alan Moore's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Steel?", or just both figs on one dial. That's a DC duo you want!

Yep,yep how about
Hawkman/Atom
Batman/Owlman (and or Terrific)
Supergirl and Capt.Marvel Jr.
You could also go "gadgets" and put say Skeets and the T-spheres together...

I would love to see Flash & Elongated Man...talk about an annoying piece! Elongated Man being a detective would have outwit or perplex not to mention plasticity (making it really difficult for opponents to break away), shape change. If the opponent is able to attack and succeed, the Flash stll has supersenses to avoid the attack. Not to mention, the duo figure can break away automatically thanks to hypersonic speed...attack, then come back and tie up your piece again. A fun piece to play with but not against.

Other figs I would like to see: Hal Jordan & Sinestro - GL, Batman & Wonder Woman - JLA, Joker & Lex - IL, Batman & Nightwing - Batman TA, Superman & Flash

Great duos!
How about some brainy combos:
Batman/Mr.Terrific
Brainiac (LOSH)/Computo
Alex Luthor/Lex

My 10 Picks: 1)Harley/Ivy--Batman Villains, 2)Booster/Beetle--JLA, 3)Green Arrow/Black Canary--JLA; 4)Joker/Lex Luthor--IL; 5)Guy/Kyle--GL; 6)Dr. Occult/Rose--Mystics; 7)Robin/Spoiler--Batman Allies; 8)Hawkman/Hawkwoman--JSA; 9)Catman/Deadshot--SS; 10)Superboy/Wondergirl--TT

J. Rojas, the folks at Wizkids made the Blue/gold a possiblility by making the Blue Beetle from Crisis have a blank spot on his brick wall to mod a booster gold from Origin on Beetle's wall. check it out!

How about a Blue Beetle and Booster Gold click? They're team up is one of the most realistic and fun friendships in the entire DC Universe.

Puuka, that was all I got... but that was more than enough to get a full article on display (so I am perfectly happy with the number of responses). Most "rejected" ones were just lists without reasons. I suspect I will get a much bigger response when I poll readers for their favorite "Marvel Duo".

Woot, mine made it.
Was this the best of what you got, or was it all that you got?

Posted by: Puuka on 1/13/2010 12:45:24 PM
totaly agree with the seletion...
Nightwing & arcenal (outsiders)
